At Emprise Review--http://emprisereview.com/2010/interview/interview-nathaniel-bellows/
Thanks for putting up the link, Carol. A very interesting interview. I'm addicted to reading interviews, especially with other writers, and this was a good one. I liked in particular what Nathaniel had to say about the importance of place in his work. Sometimes the things other writers say can give you that "validation" for ideas of your own, the ones that you kind of doubt sometimes.
It wasn't until I got to the reference about the "Nan" stories, though that I realized I knew his work--from Fictionaut, of course. I wonder if it's just me, or whether others might not know that he's one of us.
David, I'm glad you found the interview worthwhile.
And thanks for your comment--perhaps I should have mentioned that two of Nathaniel's stories are here on Fictionaut!
Great -- I tweeted it at http://twitter.com/fictionaut.
Hey, thanks, Jurgen!
Carol, this was a terrific interview. I didn't realize he wrote in both genres, was interesting to discover. Thanks very much for posting this
Thanks for reading, Susan! I really enjoy doing these interviews for Emprise.
