Very interesting movie about a 'otel in Paris that was home to Ginsberg/Corso/Burroughs and a host of other itinerant writers/painters, etc.
I like the Beats. They decided to stand naked in a time when everything was hidden by convention. They told the truth, even if that truth was uncomfortable, but there was also a celebration in their words, kind of like a tribute to Whitman at almost all times. Of course drugs and whatever else made sure their time was short-lived. But they brought a kind of sweet chaos in the beginning.
Yes! It's on Netflix streaming.
