    Cool. I’ll have to check it out. More people should read Robert Olen Butler. He’s one of the great contemporary American writers.

    I love Robert Olen Butler's work. The story of the man who comes back as a bird is one of my all-time favorite stories ever

    It's inspirational to hear how he fearlessly threw out so many words he considered useless (dreck) to his early stories -- a lesson to all writers
