Forum / Posting stories in groups

  I'm new, so forgive my confusion. Can you only post stories in groups you posted in the main story section, or can you send whole different stories to different groups at the same time that were never in the main story section. What are the pros and cons of different approaches?

  Gloria,

  A story needs to be posted on the main story section before it can be posted to groups. The exception is for stories kept as "private," which CAN be posted to Private groups without showing up elsewhere. This is an option for workshopping stories in groups inttended for the purpose.
