  Anyone ever hear of him?

  During my short stint at UT Austin, I was waiting for the bus in front of the campus one day and saw a (to-me) elder-ish-looking man with a wild white beard and longish hair wearing some kind of industrial jumpsuit. Which was strange enough, among all the students, but what was even stranger, he had a copy of the "International Directory of Little Magazines and Small Press"--(think Duotrope's-in-a-book, for those of you who never spent hours pouring over that thing).

  And we got to talking...

  REAL sweetheart of a guy, *very* good poet, and someone I was soon proud to call friend.

  I exchanged letter with Albert in the early nineties and he sent poems for my literary magazine at the time. You're right on both counts. Good guy and great poet. Much missed.
