"An assumption exists that long sentences are bad, but it is usually the case that bad sentences are long." -- Prof. Brooks Landon, English Dept., Univ. of Iowa
Have mercy -- I haven't written A STORY over 500 words in the last five years. What is the longest sentence you've written?
In a story I wrote in February, published in June in fwriction : review as cnf, of 666 words, one sentence runs 126 words, another runs 235 words. These may be my longest sentences in public writing. Not sure about my longest in private writing. Lovely question, Ramon.
