  Hey, folks,

  Kate just came bouncing up the stairs, fresh from the mailbox, carrying the latest issue of the upscale Canadian journal, Descant. This number is devoted to work concerning Sicily, and has two poems describing my travels there: Siracusa, and Villaggio Senza Nome. It's a beautiful issue, filled with fine work, guest edited by Michelle Alfano and Venera Fazio.
