I started "To Voice", a crowd-funding campaign yesterday to help authors videos and story readings. On our website here: http://tovoice.posterous.com you'll see some samples, for authors Murray Dunlap and Tiff Holland. In both cases the videos helped bring exposure - both authors had collections accepted after these videos were made - and I feel they helped bring awareness to their great work.

Please support the "To Voice" and let me know if you have a friend who needs to have a story read asap.

i am going to term it "w/ physical hardship" now. Not 'disability', it is a crappy word. I always hated the word when I had the one I had. Conditional physical hardship it is.

I cain't talk to good and I think what you're doing is swell. But I've been on SS Disability for 25 years and don't mind the word "disability" one bit.

Years ago, when a motor-neuron disease organization had a contest to replace the word "handicapped", I submitted "Fucked Up". It didn't win, "Differently Abled" did. For Chrissake, who's going to apply for a DA parking permit? I'd prefer a FU tag.
